Anthem of Wrath

short poem about unjustified vengeance

Broken souls and broken minds
these are all my presence finds
in hell again my torment grows
into the fires my life goes
ashes to ashes dust to dust
murder the master, give into my lust
fear no longer has a hold
anger and death are what I'm sold
vengeance extracted, power disclosed
in rages of hatred, I'm unopposed
filling the goblet, fitting the bill
watch me in terror as i go for the kill
broken and battered, beaten and stained
I'm resurrected, unchallenged, insane
Gather your hope, and snatch up your arms
build your defenses, sound your alarms
your useless protection, your hopeless defense
nothing will save you, it is my anger you're pitted against
falling in ruin, cities covered in rust
ashes to ashes, dust to dust

This reminds me of a poem of mine I dont care to show anyone...strange that I randomly looked at this. I like the choice of words you use to unleash your poetic wrath. I was definitely entertained.
