The lone wolf

The lone wolf

A Poem by allpaws
"

A short poem about the lone wolf hunter

"
the lone wolf hunts,
frost crackling fur
of a steel burnished grey

adrift in untamed grace,
a faint snow crunch
a lean muscle shift

his power is naught,
in face of the cold
alive through a howl wind

all vision is blind,
dancing snow flurries blur
but there is no doubt
The wolf hunts alone.
