Rush

Rush

A Poem by verity94

Never having felt the rush
The swirling in the pit of your stomach
The tender stroking of a hand
The tingling lips
Never having felt passion
The loneliness of an empty heart
The longing of an embrace
The prickling of the cold nights

Never feel what you have not think what you have not. You has a beautiful heart, and a talent for yourself. Enjoy your day dear, soon there will be someone dear for you. Great read and write.

You have brought to life a strong and very relatable image and feeling within your woven words. Of course... this really is just the dream before you awake to realize that your staring in to the eyes of your cat, who has an ice cube in his hand and an evil smirk on his lips. (At least that's what came to mind as I read this. :) Thanks for sharing!
