Revelations Upon A Breath

Revelations Upon A Breath

A Poem by Tara

My breath keeps pace with the wind.
 With each sigh
I fall away from myself
and toward something much greater.

Here in the flicker of stars,
I know the passion
of a thousand primal things.

Each scent, every vision
inhabits me
All of life calls to me
filling my senses with delicate cries.

The shroud has been lifted
Distractions melt into margins.
I am the dream
and I am the dreamer.

There is no more wanting.
I am the baby fresh from the womb
and I am the elder soul
who cradles her.

Tonight the stars converge
in unison with the tide
and I know
whether root
or branch,
seed or water
all is one
and I am all.

Not a wasted word, incredible wisdom.
Incredible vision.
I can feel this one in my chest, that's powerful.
