Vis Become VIS.

Vis Become VIS.

A Poem by Jeremy Lester
"

There's more to "being" than most know. Darwin was one of the first to hold a key and many others since him. But the ultimate answers continue to elude everyone.

"
Vis become VIS or conscience forgo!
Large enough to stand and fall alone.
Once you were solid, indeed I do say!
Now you're withering and drifting away.
Hahaha, you silly old kook!
In front, behind, and beside you I spook!
Abundance, atrocious, comical your struggle.
In the grand scheme of things, you're nothing but rubble.
And yes, oh yes, I do know you know.
But relentlessly pointing it out is all part of the show.
Vis become VIS or die and be gone.
If VIS doesn't come, you'll die all alone.
No girl, no woman, no friendship can satisfy.
Only through yourself can your strife be pacified.
Atone, forgive, fall down to recover.
Recovering your strength before the dark matter can smother.
Live for yourself, be yourself, you've heard these popular memes.
Such ignorance is bred from the stupid thoughts of such things.
I'll tell you a secret, that I guarantee you never knew.
You do get to live more than once... if you do what you're suppose to do.
But so many people are way too confused.
Buying into the conceptual, proverbial self-ego stew.
Vis become VIS and you'll go higher than the rest.
You don't have to succeed, not necessarily, if you give it your best.

Author's Note

Jeremy Lester
You can feel it, can't you? A simmering heat in your head.
At times it pounds away while you're wasting time in jest.
You're scared. You think it's neoplasm or something life-threatening.
The ringing it brings to your left ear is deafening.
It's not an ailment as most would think.
It's your body and mind fighting to become sync.
But you're not listening or helping, you are the missing link.
Hear your body and mind and unite it on the brink.
Vis become VIS or your life will be wasted.
And all your thoughts and ideas will have become figuratively basted.
