A Poem by vivekanand

you say it is alright..
i know no longer
if you speak to express
or to hide...
we had entered the garden of our friendship
 twenty years ago
  two years ago
  two months ago
two days ago
two hours ago..
 what does it matter anyway
if you are transacting through
the keyhole of your bolted doors..
come out
slap me so that my cheeks redden
and brings those tears of pain..
but hug me after you do that...
because ,
still i have not learnt to become
the nonchalant businessman you want me to be...

.
. overwhelming, poignant and excruciating ... you are too sensitive a person and poet to ever turn into a businessman ... and that's just as well ... this pain that the world at large tends to inflict ... must be mourned in your amazingly thoughtful and poetic words of expressing and sharing ... it must never be celebrated ... the day we do that, the few authentic relationships we have ... even those will cease to remain ...
