the loneliness of the masochist

the loneliness of the masochist

A Poem by vivekanand

in my lonely verandah,
everyday i fed the crows
coming by punctually

i felt they smiled
and opened my cupboard
reserved for  warm  words
and embraces..

yesterday
they pecked at me
and dropped crow s**t
on my blue shirt..
sure enough
they crow-scowled at me..

so i cursed them and
returned
satisfied after ages....

Its so natural-I can visualise that verandha so clearly and even see you there facing the crow-scowl--like a spicy relief from something too sweet... That's how it appears to me--.. Thanks for a very familiar slice of life.
