When The Rain Falls

When The Rain Falls

A Poem by vlhunter

Drip. Drip. Drip. Pour. Pour. Pour.
The rain continually falls from the sky,
finding the umbrella's of every girl and guy.

However there are a few, with no umbrella.
Does anyone notice, does anyone care?
A man who is need, even if shows wear and tear.

Those in need, those who suffer
are often over looked for those who are bluffers.
Bluffers who act as if life is alright,
when in reality life has decided pour.

Pour. Pour. Pour. Drip. Drip. Drip.
When the rain falls from the sky,
be sure to notice who isn't dry.

Beautiful words indeed. For I am that soldier. Always remembering when it rains that I meant to go by a brolly. So instead I walk about like a drowned rat, hair like rats tails and generally in a ratty mood (are you seeing a pattern here)
A lovely image you have captured here, with compassion for us poor souls.
