In the Beginning

In the Beginning

A Poem by Weston R.
"

My April 22nd poem for NaPoWriMo 2012

"

The cursor flashes on the white plane.
A whole void
All for me.
My heart thumps its excitement
To all who will hear it.
A whole world to be created
Is waiting.
The keyboard invites me
With recitations of
A New Bible for
A New World:

In the beginning, the writer created a new heaven and earth.
And that earth was waste and void,
And darkness was on the face of the deep.
And with trembling fingers, the writer typed Let there be light.

And there was light.
