A Poem by Kat

What memories
These bring to light
On those dark
And stormy nights

A window seat
With lamplight’s glow
Reminding you
Reap what you sow

And when these thoughts
Become too dark
Rest your eyes
Open your heart

Whispers abound
throughout the chambers
Listen closely
Pay mind to dangers

Journey to
That place called home
Find your peace
You’re not alone.

Very nice rhythm, flows well, with an open-eyed truthfullness for life.

Well done!

I loved this. I don't even like poetry, but this was so good. My favorite verse (?) was:

A window seat
With lamplight’s glow
Reminding you
Reap what you sow

Very good imagery!
