It’s just a phase

It’s just a phase

A Poem by Riley

Every squeeze
On my wrist
Bullet to the chest
Every justification
Any one could mumble
It’s just a phase.
Right?

Every yell
Curse
Scream
Scare
Tear
Rise
And fall.

As if a siren in the sea
I sing a song of love and trust.
You sing a song of lust.

Surprisingly enough,
I didn’t know snakes could breathe under water.
