THE LAST DAY

Everything that shines always has a shadow,

so take us down, deep inside,
where the abyss is bright
and before it blinds us,
we'll see for the very first time

But when we step out of our graves,
before we reach into the air,
we'll throw roses at monsters who couldn't destroy us,
even though they had a chance.
