Hotel Rooms

A Poem by Marissa Torres

My body feels more numb than my heart at times.

For most

It is an hotel room.

An escape from what is reality.

I'm just as terrified as you

Might be the reason I let you

stay the night.

God knows I hate sleeping alone

In these hotel rooms.

A good poem, which, to any with a good imagination, speaks volumes about the author.

very interesting poetry. not sure if darker side to it. get the overwhelming feeling of not a good room to be staying in.
