Heavenly

Heavenly

A Poem by Brandon S. Whitten
"

Waya tries to share his origin

"
Ancient text I have read
In blood memory
Fingering pages
In my mind
Bound by flesh
Innate knowledge of Spirit

Anointed
Constellations tattooed
On my body
Made of Earth and stardust
I have seen Heaven
Through my anja

The Kingdom of God
Real or imagined
The colors were vivid
Yet no other words
Can express the beauty
Beyond description
