Speaking with God

Speaking with God

A Poem by Amber Weldon

Can you forgive me?
For all my poor decisions
Even with my broken heart,
my heavily clouded mind.
Am I redeemable?
Even if I am a broken record,
continuously playing failure,
desperate to move forward.
Am I a lost cause?
A forgotten soul,
too damaged to mend
too tainted to want.
I am unworthy.
However I am alive,
No thing with life has no purpose
Help me come to know mine.

Beautiful write... this is an echo of a parable that He, Himself said... Luke 18:9-14. You are heard when you humble yourself, as you have in this lovely write. You are not out of reach, you are worth more than you or anyone can dream you to be. He can forgive you, His mission is just that. Can you honor such forgiveness and forgive yourself? That is the question... I too have trouble with such, I too understand this hardship. Thankfully so does He.

A wonderful prayer that emanates humbleness and faithfulness enough to seek His guidance.
