Dark woman.

Dark woman.

A Poem by karina y
"

I wrote this more out of disappointment and confusion more than anger.

"
As she dances round, and round,
her eyes burn through your purity once more.
She looks down upon you granting you this chance again.
And you take it, oh why you take it.
Hand bleeding with shame, the agony, the pain it doesn't stop nor spread.
You have no where to turn tonight, for you have made your choice.
The shelter that I endlessly pour out of myself,
has no longer a place in your heart.
For there is only one wheel and she controls it all.
And her dark magic spins, and spins its circles 'round your mind,
you have become a part of her.
Her words do no longer affect you, for they have become you
and you repeat them over, and over, and over.
Stop.
You sit and look at me, you look into my eyes
and you tell me just how much poison lies inside of your soul.
And my heart cannot bear anymore the pain, the pain that she has caused you.
And as I raise my cold shaking fingers up to your pallid self, I sing.
I sing those words which should not be sung,
and speak the words you should not hear, oh but I do.
I lead you into your own sorrow, your denial.
The darkness that I have surpassed, you have yet to enter,
and so you must.
You must go back, and you must understand why.
Why it is you cannot let go of the spinning dark woman inside your soul.
