snow storm

snow storm

A Poem by zeitgeist

Hard feelings.

standing on main street in the middle of
a snow storm
you're screaming
saying you can't keep going like this

a long car ride home
restless and hopeless
tears roll down my cheeks

my head outweighs the blood
in my heart
too nice to mean much
wouldn't know how if I could

swallowing tobacco and
drinking a rack of coors
spend my nights wishing
for a stronger back

Just trying to get some of my writing out into the word instead of it collecting dust in my mind. A human that enjoys blues & folk music, long rides into nothingness and cold mornings. more..
