Rising From the Ashes

something i am dealing with in my life

Cuts, bruises, bloodshot eyes

Marks of betrayal, worsening everyday,

Years of friendship thrown away,

Knives in my back, riping away my flesh, eating at my despair.

How could you just stand there and blame me, for something I cannot repair.

Enjoy your disappointment, for I have moved on.

Never look back, I will drown in the present.

Not the past.

Forget it, forgive me, regret it.

It's in your hands.
