Little Fantasies

Little Fantasies

A Poem by songstress
"

This was something composed While listening to Fly me to the moon~Doris Day. It makes me think it's possible to obtain a dream out of reach.

"

Long bathed in tides of sepia,
a bode of pure white
moonlight,
becomes ever more luminescent
beneath silver stars…
a shallow breath,
a cold hand
playing waltzes upon fine porcelain flesh
makes heaven ripple…
silver, violet, and navy.
Yet, beneath
a kaleidoscope of starlight dance,
and oceanic tumult
the demure you
mocks
behind a curtain of fine black…
words of love.
Then,
make for once this dream real.
Be true
with eyes so blue,
and paint this fine moonlight in shades
of rose…
and whisper softly,
warmly
odes and sonnets of love ...

I like the writing style, and the choice of words especially. Demure. Well done.
