Songs of The East

Songs of The East

A Poem by songstress
"

before golden sun and silver moons, my chest bled red. To a Venus, here I lie for you, seeking the whispers which held me here. A delusion somewhere east of here which bound me by tragic love spells

"

Where you and I bonded,
before
golden suns and silver moons…
my feet became ragged by endless gray crests.
So,
disez-moi,
where are you beyond that cerulean heaven"
if it called that...

Where you and I bonded,
before
golden suns and silver moons…
my throat caught
within limitless words and chasms,
which became
much too incomprehensible
to
the immature me…
and standing here before gray waves
I became saturated
in a frozen enchantment.
I became solidified like green leaves within white frost,
all so that I could hear you once more.
entendez-moi,
I love you…
so, where within this aqua horizon
do you stand
alone as I do?

And once again, where you and I were bound,
before golden sun and silver moons,
my chest bled red.
And my throat spilt crimson spells,
in an attempt to entrap you within
ivory arms,
and black locks…
for this sea which lashed into ragged
white flesh, gave birth
to a Venus…
a beauty of eternal love and death.
So,
here I lie
for you, seeking an answer to it all.
the whispers which held me there,
the cold that bit into me,
and the illusion
of your warm
voix…
here I stand before silly
blue skies
and glittering trinkets,
with
a delusion
that somewhere east
of this wasteland,
you with ebony locks
and pale rose lips
lie in wait…
but,
just as morning parts
with the break of night,
I, the apparition, of you
shall depart
upon the end of this tragic song…
at least, I lived but once to hear of you…
