Never in mine

Never in mine

A Poem by Pax

In my muted life
Lady Luck came
to others whom
i Cherish
Never in mine

In my pause life
Stars shines
in their path
Never in mine

In my Blurred life
I remain stilled
Waiting for forever
That never came.

Author's Note

Pax
I feel like I am Making excuses. I was suppose to write about how lady luck always comes to those people around me and I on the other hand none came to me, it's not like I am bad in luck or having any bad serious situation. I know that if you want something you need to work hard for it. Even I when I work hard on it, it never came into perspective so I learned when to strike but most of the time I remained stilled, call it lazy but that's how I cope. My laziness and patience aline in life. Seems like I am making a blog on my authors note.. Thanks for reading...

The picture is a painting I never got to finish, oceanic sky in mixed media.

This is kind of down in the dumps. As they always say, luck has a way of evaporating when you lean on it :) Some people get luck handed to them. It can happen to them that easy as if by divine intervention, or by a simple coincidence, but there are those who don’t get luck on a shiny platter. And then, as if written by the hand of a bad writer, very good things happen. As how those good philosophers put it, it takes only a split second for life to go horribly wrong or luckily right. There is no "never came" just "not yet". All a person needs to do is bridge that gap, again and again, until it comes.

Your words here is simple but they run deep showing pessimism and whatnot.

An awesome poem with pertinent and deep thoughts. I, we, as human beings, question things when they go wrong or don't go our ways; I do that constantly.
We want to feel sorry for ourselves playing the victim or want others to feel sorry for us. Most people don't care for they are busy with their small worlds, small circles.
I believe there are outside things or factors we can't control, but many inner things we can control. I'm learning to go with the flow while improving myself , little by little, and by changing our perspective on things, things will be different as values or effects.
I say, let us count our small, large blessings. It could be health, which is paramount, knowledge, family, friends, no debt, no headaches, no stress and many others.
At the end of the day, I believe we are put on Earth to worship God and serve others. Shifting the focus too much from ourselves, not saying don't take care of ourselves, and try to help, inspire, encourage, share, train, teach others will give us joy and much satisfaction.
The prophet Muhammad said:" Just look at the people below you or less fortunate, and see how much you are blessed."
I'm blessed to have a good fried and poet.

Dear Pax,

Sometimes, life seems so lackluster and partial to us. I relate so much to your words. Having always been given the short end of the stick by Lady Luck, these words could be mine and I'm so glad you wrote them. Its amazing when poetry feels so relatable and comforting.

sometimes we just don't finish that we start...there can be plenty of blame to go around...but if we give up or make excuses or just blame it on luck...aren't we dodging the real issues.
Oh, this poem makes us stop and think....good poetry does that.
