All Things Fall

All Things Fall

A Poem by Wilyem Clark

As if time's dominion was ever in doubt,
See how in a lifespan three wracks came about:
First Seneca's Sentinel tumbled down;
Next, Wall Arch collapsed near Moab-town;
Then Gozo's Azure Window slammed shut,
Leaving behind a rocky butt.
So if Nature's wonders all teeter and list,
How long can mankind's works persist?

About
I've been writing poems since my teens (now in my 60s) and prose since the 1990s. It's been hard finding decent forums online--the free websites too often suffer sudden deaths. My "published" works ar.. more..
