Your words

Your words

A Poem by Jeannine Winklaar
"

We influence people around us every day. Hopefully positively.

"

He who made ears knows

why they were left small

but words have their way

of penetrating the mind

You left me with many words

explaning how you view the

situation, so many they were

and left me sorrow at heart

Yes as a fact I noticed you grow

from streams below to mountains

high above, stronger as you go,

leaving me empty handed

Your words distroyed the magic

they wore me down, left me shaking

left me behind at the other side

in darkness What to do ?

Years have passed since you died

well burried, and still they remain

here in my mind, just as nails

attached to your coffin
