Inside and out

Inside and out

A Poem by Heather

Looking after something as it silenty whistles in the wind,
singing, screaming out in pain longing to not have sinned.
Peace is the echo of all of the people who are born, of all of those who die,
a murderer who's a coward, a muderer's cry.
Life never was, is, as simple as a blissfully summers day
an inviolate mind can but hope, dream, pray.
The screech of a baby, the squeal of a plead,
the ticking of time, a bomb, the root from a seed.

"Maybe one day" they said
until i turned around, they had all fled.

My mind is scarred, eternally broken i can feel it near,
i cry and shake as nerves replace me as it takes over, FEAR.
