Waking up with a bloody heart at the foot of your bed

Etched sloppy heart smudged
with finger prints
of your soul
black strong smelling ink
Clad in darkness
Of lines over lines
Again and again
till it is eternally
Scarred by the pointed
Bleeding tip
Writing over past slashes
Cuts long incised
Scribbled again and again
Till blurred and rubbed with points
long went dull
worn and torn over matters
replayed
too many times
sinking to the opposite
cutting so bad
bleeding white paper
no longer visible
beneath the abused withstood
till nothing nut
the pain and emptiness
come together
to void a heart shaped hole
reminding you what no
longer is there to fill you
