Untitled 1

A Poem by Wordsmith

as the sun came up
on the deep dark blue
as crickets started to jump
and the birds all flew
as the sun started to shine
rays of hope pierced through
touched the deepest darkest places
only one place stayed true
a dying man in a living room
calm and quiet, sorrow and gloom
sick or ill ! u would assume
but a broken heart that's up in fumes
betrayed and played and left behind
& no one stayed ,all the pain he had to hide
alone and scared, no one cared
sleepless nights, at the moon he stared
when the lights went off it shined and glared
But
will he rise or will he fall
will he walk or will he crawl
face to the concrete or will he stand tall
Many questions left unanswered !

I really like the imagery you used. I love how it's like not telling what's going to happen but it's letting the reader feel like they could answer. It's really good
