Brick wall

Brick wall

A Poem by Sarah's words
"

love for something so simple

"
Brick wall

I am sitting next to a brick wall.
The brick wall of a coffee shop.

So aesthetic, it is.
Dreaming of that wall in my one day apartment.

Observing it, touching it, I begin taking note of it's features.

Rustic.
Firm, hard.
Shades of brown.
Layered.
Rough.
Perfectly, imperfect.

All these features make me love it more.
The good and the bad.

Brick wall, you tought me something.
How to love something so simple, with each part of it's character.

This is an amazing piece of work. I love how easy you make it your idea realized and illustrated in the reader's mind. Sometimes as people we tend to make things more difficult than they have to be. Yet, being simple and straight to the point works the best. Keep up your wonderful work.

Aw I love the heart warming, touch tone of your piece! The simplistic subject that was able to invoke a more complex feeling and hope, makes the poem so interesting! Beautifully done! :)
