Minus One

Minus One

A Poem by T.C. Vulpes
"

Just something I was thinking about.

"

From the green mother,

Now a blacked Earth.

One chance given us,

One offering of birth.

Destroyers of life,

Hatred for my breed.

Pound nails in my eyes,

Let tears trickle as I bleed.

Silent her screams,

Unheard her cries.

Razorblades cut my tongue,

When one of us lies.

Faster we breed,

Quickly we consume.

Place me in the grave,

Never to be exhumed.

One day all will suffer for what we've done.

Today however I die alone,

A single, solitary one.
