Reading The Animal Words

Listening and talking is not always the same as listening and talking
Sounds confusing but not listening as one talks is even more so
There are those who claim to know it all but really now
Is it all that they know but that's not the whole story
If you can't communicate then you don't know what you are missing
Computers have protocols so every bit is translated never lost
Beings who don't speak the language can appear to know nothing
Their culture and vocabulary not even lost simply ignored
If a being doesn't know the language standardized tests are a joke
Freedom of expression is more than words that are spoken
Propaganda is a static picture blocking connections of thought
Animals don't know the language we test in and we don't know theirs
So their vocabulary is a short list of words for those with short minds
Animals have names and places for everything same as we do
We feed them a couple of things so we think they only eat as much
For most every bug has an image with a name and maybe a sound
And definitely actions like buzz crawl fly sting and bite
Even if we don't know the name we all got the same catalog of ideas
Then we have the animals so apparently dumb and quite stupid
After all their vocabulary based on our rules is so tiny and small
Supposedly for animals all bugs look the same without actions or meanings
Two choices there are and good ones at just eat it or not
Rules by the people who talk for everyone who doesn't appear to listen
When in reality all those parameters describing life are lots of silent words
Far too many words to count as you might imagine thoughts multiply
Like combinations of a lock three words makes nine choices
And so it all goes tumbling as foods actions sleeping emotions
Real mental map making when mazes are run in real forests and fields
Our brains have untold trillions of thoughts with storage a plenty
The rat brain is actually only a couple hundred times smaller than ours
Not much when to consider when the order of magnitude is in the trillions
