Earth is a molecular computer whose display is what goes on, above, and below the surface of the planet.

The biggest computer of them all is made from a variety of natural materials
Broadly speaking these materials are earth wind fire water sunlight and gravity

All computers have internal clocks to synchronize all their computations
The sun and moon synchronize the earth programs twenty four hours a day

The earth computer program is the flow of materials in the surface zone
The surface zone is the boundary between the mantle and surrounding space
Eighteen hundred miles below the surface going two hundred miles above sea level
In this arena hundreds of natural programs better known as cycles co-exist
Popular cycles include carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus, sulfur, water, rock
Turns out everything cycles replacing the old planetary epicycles that once ruled
These cycle programs do not disappear but the interactions always change

The total amount of life has always had a total saturation level since day one
The total amount of life has reached the maximum level many times in the past
The life changed size from little to big to little to big and everything in between
But the total mass stays relatively the same dipping down but always coming back

A couple of billion years and not much has changed with all the cycles humming
The size of cycle interactions changes with time but not the number of cycles acting
All size life participates in the running of the cycles directly inputting instructions
The results displayed for years on end in carbon air water rock fire and whatever

Conservation of life means the total mass remains the same only the identities change
The empty spaces will always be filled by something living not necessarily like us

While the number of pixels in the display increase the picture remains the same
The programs remain the same only the size of their activities changes over time

Like the Shakespearean monkeys that could never type a play that made any sense
Current instructions inputted by people will never create anything that helps everything
What we call computers represent just a small amount of the actual computing power
Molecular computing has no free lunch but there is enough energy for everything
