The Rainy Day Kiss

after reading a bio on how someone loves 'kissing in the rain' i aspired to write this. i love it, too. and so do lovers.

 

Its raining today

Haven’t you noticed?

But why spend time inside

And hide away, unnoticed

 

Come with me

Lift me high  

Let’s flee this place

To a private space

Our secret escape

 

Let us take shelter

In each others arms

Knowing we’ll be together

For all eternity to come

 

Because I trust you

You have my heart

You

And only you

 

And when we kiss

Beneath the rain

Those warm, seductive sheets of bliss

Beloved to lovers, behind which they hide

Unseen and unknown

To the world outside  

 

I’ll feel it

Your touch, your breath

Long after you

Stop….

 

I love you

One kiss

One love
