Broken Land

our world is in critical danger. we must fight for all that is now and save what is the future or there won't be one for us

 

our world as a whole

 not just as one nation

is under great distress

lay aside the depression

 

we must hold tight to what we believe

and not count on everything we say to be

perfectly perceived

we are a piece to this vast, endless puzzle

 

a chink

a figure to shape our future history

befuddled

 

please listen

wake from this slumber

and do something - anything!

to help end the ravage and blunder

 

we must change

stop the chaos

and infinite disarray

 

the time is now

not tomorrow

 

if not today

before you know it

it will all be over

 

there is no tomorrow

unless we fight for today

 

now or

never

 

live together

or die

alone
