Only news we get is fox right now and having seen the others it inspired me to write this plus reading a poem on here gave me some inspiration for this one.

 

Fair and balanced,

Or so they say,

But what is fair,

What is balanced?

 

The news is biased,

Those who claim otherwise,

Can’t see beyond,

Their own egos.

 

Sex scandals,

Gay marriage,

Celebrities revealed,

Gossip News,

Being reported

As real news.

 

Where is news?

Where is fact?

Where is the story?

 

Opinion is not news,

Rhetoric has taken over,

Gossip has become news,

Fair and balanced

Is a fictional story

That once existed,

But is far gone,

From this country.

I like this piece. very intriguing. Fox News likes to label themselves as fair and balanced. but they are really are biased. Comedy Central is basically liberal and I hear the conservatives complain that all news is controlled by the liberals yet Fox and CNN are run by the conservatives. Great piece...but u are right about what has become news.....but its the consumers fault,,,,,if we didnt care too much about Brangelina then it would stop being reported 24/7
