x- My sugar syrup dreams -x

A Poem by x-aki-x
"

A dream of dreams, just as sweet as sugar syrup.

"

The sunshine wasn’t bright enough so I went back to sleep.

Turns out I woke up at midnight,

Cause I saw a moon in my sleep.

I’ve never felt so better,

I slept while the world was awake.

Girlfriends boyfriends telephone,

Everyone thought I wasn’t home.

But I was busy waking up to

My sugar syrup dreams.

Candy and cream fields,

jawbreakers for moons.

A pie thrown at my window,

but I couldn’t care enough to move.

So tonight I’m going to groove.

Since I slept while the world was awake

Girlfriends boyfriends telephone,

Everyone thought I wasn’t home.

But I was busy waking up to

My sugar syrup dreams.

When the rain came pouring down

My heart jumped  inside.

I ran out in my gown,

I evaporated to the mist.

The rain kissed my lips.

I slept while the world was awake.

Girlfriends boyfriends telephone,

They still think I’m not home.

But I’m busy waking up to

My sugar sweet bittersweet sickly sweet candy like dreams,

Thrown into my brain while counting sheep.

Lying underneath my sheet,

I lay still and fall asleep.

I’d never want to leave my sugar syrup dreams.
