Cracked

Cracked

A Poem by Carla Mei
"

Thy walls cracked but will be pieced together like the connection of moon and stars to the dark night sky.

"
O thee cracks thy walls attain,
melody of thy face gain,
give thee not what thy can reign,
but thy gift of bloom and rain.

Thy name of disgrace, give thee
the sight of soul and thy see
font of life is thy ever free.
For thee can see more than tree.

Thee won't feel the wine of crown,
but thy hope will feel but drown.
Plead not a color of frown,
plead a color of beauty.

Seam thy night by moon and star.
Leave an open familiar,
But, also the brick from afar,
for thy not a faded scar.

Yes, thy crack of wall is tall
but light of fire will call.
Thy feel not burn long fall,
for thy not fall but thy crawl.

Author's Note

Carla Mei
You know that feeling when you got so broken that you knew from that moment on it would leave an unfading scar? I feel like this at times. Heck, I tried so hard to heal that I started FORCING myself to piece together what cracked inside of me, but that's just it, I shouldn't have. I should have just let it be and let it heal by itself, so to all those people out there who felt like you can't get over your past, remember that you will. Don't give up hope, don't hurt yourself for getting hurt, because if you do, you will never be able to see the light in the darkness that formed inside of you. Each and everyone of you out there has a reason for being alive, you have a mission to accomplish, so don't throw it away for a mistake or something that happened to you. I really hope that this poem showed you what it means to heal, and what it means to not lose hope. :) xoxo

I love the feeling this poem gives. It paints an abstract picture with words, acknowledging the cracks we all carry, but also offering hope. :)

The one thing you should only know about me is that, words had hurt me but words had also given me the power to love, hate, and understand. I think that writing about me would take away the chanc.. more..
