World So Cold

 

Take a look around

What do you see?

A world so cold

Something that shocks me

 

You see things happen

You watch things progress

Children beaten

A guy ripping a woman’s dress

 

How can they do this?

What could they have thought?

I just don’t see any reason for it

It’s not the way I was taught

 

Children fighting

Gangs run amongst the streets

I don’t want anything bad to happen

Or a child laying at my feet

 

How did this world

Get so damn cold

Where’s all the caring

This s**t is getting old

 

Someday I hope

For a world without pain

But I suppose that’s a dream

Like dancing for a rain
