Heart-Broken

Another chance given,

Another heart broken.

Will this girl ever learn,

Not to fall in love?

 

This is the fourth time,

She gave her heart away;

To the same boy,

That keeps breaking it.

 

She loved him so much,

She saw it coming.

She just didn't believe,

It would happen again.

 

She trusted this boy,

With her entire heart.

Now that he gave it back,

She doesn't know what to do.

 

She had this stupid saying,

She always told her friends;

Never call someone your everything,

Cause when they're gone you have nothing.

 

That's not what she listened to,

She called him her everything.

Now that he's disappeared,

This poor girl has nothing.
