TensionA Poem by Adam Awdish
Does distance make the heart grow fonder?
It does, But not like they say. Yes, I love you more and more, Every single day. The hardest part is the one we looked over, The most simple mistake. Sure we can text, We can call, We can Skype, Even write letters if we really must. But none of that will ever add up To your warm embrace and touch. True, I love you plenty more with every passing day, But this distance is causing tension, And I fear you might slip away.
