Suicide Pact

Suicide Pact

A Poem by oranges_melt
"

When you're together, nothing else matters.

"

We've grown up together
we've grown apart,
love has been twisted,
dart through my heart.

Hands are intwined,
our love is forbidden,
crushed I have been,
but you are forgiven.

I love all you do,
everything you are,
no matter how close,
no matter how far.

sunsets are lovely,
we watch it together,
love is sorrounding,
twisted forever.

don't ever let go,
your love is now mine,
don't ever forget,
remember to shine.

We are forbidden,
but we won't agree,
something unfazed,
they cannot see.

I'll cross my heart,
and hope to die,
just to see,
and touch the sky.

They have now killed,
the love that has been,
you are now gone,
despising their sin.

You're dead on the floor,
I promise to catch,
to knock on the door,
and open the latch.

They may not see you,
but I have seen love,
which is now dying,
and you are above.

I'll drink this here poison,
choosing to die,
holding your hand,
and watch me fly.

floating to heaven,
and that's a fact,
I'll come to find you,
a suicide pact.
