Falling From Grace

Falling From Grace

A Poem by oranges_melt
"

what a disgrace.

"

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Broken dreams are left sustained.

I wonder where the hell we'll go.

It's like watching several times the show.

I can see it now, we've travelled far.

like the three kings who tracked a star.

like cinderella and her heel.

it's mounted up, and made of steel.

my heart I've built atop a wall.

one big gust, and then ill' fall.

sacred, precious, undescribed.

feels like parts of me have died.

I can't open up to you.

how would i know what to do?

hitlor knew the way he'd be.

look here now, he's dead, not me.

what would Jesus do, I asked?

Sorry I can't leave the past.

crumbled, tumbled, endless stumble.

falling to my death, I fear.

I'm not the only one, it's clear.

please pull me out this dreary place.

because i fear i'll fall from grace.

very raw, very powerful. I liked it, it had such a great feel...crumbled, tumbled, endless stumble.Who cannot relate, but the most boring?
