Struggle

Struggle

A Poem by oranges_melt
"

the end's the best. beginnings are starts. and the middle's a war.

"

I feel like I'm playin' tug-o-war.

the batte never ends.

the fight has just begun.

 the ripples, cuts, and bends.

forgotten, left aside.

left to fend for herself.

just been told he isn't real.

mr. santa and his elf.

a battle of a war.

a struggle for a dream.

a mind of curiosity.

that's why it always seems....

it's too hard to follow up

just been told he isn't real

mr. santa and his elf

i don't know if i can feel

then i remember where i am

in my office, in my job,

it's lonely, not one tree,

when a childhood's been robbed,

i get angry when you tell me,

i don't want to hear no more,

i feel as if you left me stranded,

a battle wound and roar,

merry christmas, one and all,

but forgive me if i ask,

when i tell my kids he's fraud,

how long's the silence gonna last?
