Falling

Falling

A Poem by oranges_melt
"

"

London bridge is falling down

she's taking me down with her.

A firm grasp around my bleeding neck

she knows that it will kill her.

I belong at earth, she belongs up there,

But I don't know where to go.

Yet as you see, she's followed me,

but I still think I don't know.

London bridge is falling down

falling down, six under ground.

If I died today, would people come for me?

Would they leave me there?  Or set me free?

I like this.
I like the line
"A firm grasp around my bleeding neck."
Because its a line with fantastic imagery.
