White Daises

White Daises

A Poem by Xander

Warm sunlight, reaching through the bend

Gentle winds, blowing through her hair

White daises, blooming all around

but there she lays, shattered and bare

Looming trees, shadowing the ground

Swaying grass, round her head like her crown

White daises, blooming all around

but there she lays, blood dripping down

Harsh ringing, blaring in her ear

Rough winds, thrashing life about

White daises, all frozen with fear

But there she lays, looking for the way out

Raging fires, burning a path

Menacing clouds, covering the sun

White daises, no

But there she lays, no where to run

White daises melted away,

But there she lays, shattered and bare
