Just Love

Just Love

A Poem by Hmhmhm

I won't let you stop and think
Your weary mind won't ever shrink.
I promise you,
With all the things I do,
I will never let you fall
Or ever lose it all.
You think I don't care,
But you words fly in the air.
You can't tell me the same.
With out say, "This is why I came.
I love you, but I can't stay.
It's nothing you say,
It's nothing you do,
I just cannot tell how much.
Though i might be afraid and such.
We can work this out.
But all we do is scream & shout.
You love seeing me cry,
So darling please let me die.
I do believe you cared
But you left me so scared.

This is blunt, sweet and very much to the point.
I don't think I've seen a love poem quite like it before.
I enjoy that you started it happily and ended it with thoughts of death and overall depression.
It seems the opposite of a love story to me, no happy ending here and certainly no ' Once upon a time... '

Brilliant work, keep it up.
Thank you for sharing.
