Mankind

Mankind

A Poem by Kimberly Wolke

Lost in technical world
Cold and frightened freedom girl
Seeing beauty in every earthly corner
While other gaze in computer horror
Leaving life a secondary choice
Mother dying in a slow faint voice...
Nothing left to see or imagine
Ignorance now the new high fashion
Where is a challenge for the mind?
Losing now...hope for mankind
Generations bound to decline
Is there light left to enshrine?
Mankind it's time to free your mind
Before we see the fatal divine
