Pain and Sorrow

 

There were so many deaths in one year

So much sorrow and pain

We loved them all but one especially,

Her name was Carol Jane

She was born in the mid sixties

Died in 2008

God took her away

It was then that I knew it was fate

With so many deaths in one year

And each one when things got better

I knew this year was meant to mean

Pain and Sorrow forever

It would stand alone with all the deaths

Remembering the love and the tears

This sad year will be remembered

Throughout the rest of the years.
