Those Eyes

An older poem of mine.

Those Eyes

 

Those big brown eyes

That sparkle in the light

Tell me all I need to know

As I look into them with delight

They reach deeper every time

I look into those beautiful things

And all that wonderful joy

Looking into them brings

These eyes belong to someone

Who’s very special to me

And as I look into them with my very own

I fall as hard for the owner as can be

His hair is the ice-cream

While his smile is the cake

His eyes top it off as a cherry

The perfect someone they make
