Andrew's Cake

Andrew's Cake

A Poem by yael5012_y
"

A poem about a person named Andrew.

"

There was once a man named Andrew,

Who had a cake.

The cake had begun to rotten,

After 4 months of not eating it!

(Who knew that could happen?

Andrew didn't know!)

And so, Andrew had an epiphany!

"I'm a penguin!"

He suddenly realized!

And he wasn't just any penguin;

He was a flying penguin!

(And there's aren't many flying penguins!)

And so as a flying penguin,

He traveled around Canada and Scotland and China,

In search for the Loch Ness Monster,

And so I write this poem,

To express his sorrow as he realized,

The Loch Ness Monster does not exist!

I guess the only way to avoid a rotten cake is to fly away on various adventures . . . I like flying penguins. I like your use of the absurd here. Very creative.
