To Be Yourself Is To Be Alone

Do you know yourself? Have you ever noticed all the masks we have? And that people always doubt what to make of anything?

Don’t be afraid.

Keep your pride.
Hold your head high.
No self pity.
Maintain your status.
Never look up, just look down.

Be strong.

 

Don’t be weak.

Keep your feet on the ground.
Hold on to yourself.
No self doubt.

Maintain in the present.
Never look for the future.
Be great.

 

Walk your own way.
Trust no one.
Know all.

 

You see only to yourself.
They feel your power.
She believes in you.

He envies you.
It is your destiny.

We rely on you.

I don’t buy it.

The world is ours.

I Like "The world is ours". Putting Two In One Seems To Be Very Controlling. Not In Matter But In The Meaning Behind This Poem From The Heart.

Its Surrounds The One That Is Alone And Maybe Lost But Still Found Within.

The title sums it up perfectly..and what "it" is is a great philosophical idea you've opened my mind to. I like this poem a lot, I love the last stanza because it really brings it all home.
