Some Dreams Are Just Too Impossible

Sadness is not simply an emotion, it's a pain.

It rumbles in your stomach, roiling and brewing.

Its hurts and makes you want to throw up,

Throw up all the pain and flush it down the toilet.

If only it was that easy…

 

I don't even know how to make this pain disappear.

It comes from a longing, an obsession, that seems impossible to achieve.

I wish I could throw up the pain that sits in my stomach like cement.

Like the way I throw up that blueberry vodka that I drink to forget why I hurt.

You use some strong imagery and words. But (and this may just be a personal preference), I dislike the prose feel... It is like reading two paragraphs rather than two stanzas in a poem. However, your ideas and expression are remarkable.
